What is Anonymous all Rejection?

Anonymous Call Rejection (ACR) allows you to block incoming calls from people who use *67 to block their phone number, and blocks calls made from a private line. When Anonymous Call Rejection is activated, your phone will not ring when an incoming private call is received. Anonymous Call Rejection is included at no cost for monthly subscribers to Caller ID or Call Return. This service may also be ordered separately.

How do I turn on Anonymous Call Rejection?

1. Lift the receiver and listen for dial tone.
2. Press *77 and listen for the following announcement: "Your Anonymous Call Rejection service from Cincinnati Bell is now active. Calls marked private will not be connected to your number."
3. Hang up your receiver, ACR will remain active until you turn it off. An incoming private caller will hear the message: "We're sorry, the number you have dialed is not accepting calls marked private. To complete a call to this number, you must remove the private status by dialing *82 prior to placing your call."

Ordering

Orders may be activated the same day if placed before 3:00 p.m. Exceptions to this timeframe will occur if you order Anonymous Call Rejection with other products. All products ordered will be activated on the same day. For example, if you order Anonymous Call Rejection with a service that requires 3 days to activate, all services will be activated on the third business day.
