Why does my bill show roaming charges for some of my calls made in Dayton?
The billing data for this call provided by one of our roaming partners, indicates this call was made outside of our designated Local Coverage Area, as reflected on our coverage maps. Some of the northeastern portions of the greater Dayton area are actually out of our territory, being served by competitor's cell sites out of the Columbus coverage territory. These areas will read "Extended Area" on your handset when making calls. These will be billed at extended area roaming rates of $.40/min.

How do I send an email message from my Nokia wireless phone?
Wireless callers are normally subject to roaming charges if their handset device picks up a stronger signal from one of a carrier's many roaming partners. Cincinnati Bell has decided to make a billing change to absorb the cost & eliminate these additional charges, to provide a better customer experience in the newly expanded Local Coverage Area.

How will I know when to dial 10-digits vs. 7-digits?
We recommend always using 10-digit dialing & programming 10-digit numbers into your call lists. Dial patterns for geographic areas have not changed, if you dialed a certain way at a given location before, you should still be able to dial that way at that location. You will no longer be able to tell which way to dial, just by looking at what your handset display reads, therefore, we recommend always using 10-digits.
What are the new areas covered by your expansion?The following areas are a sample of places you may have incurred roaming charges in the past, but now will be covered with the newly expanded Local Coverage Area. Keep in mind that you will still not be able to make calls in areas where no coverage existed before.
